EI Interview – Camillo Lombardi

If You have a Sports athlete in Your family, this interview is for You.

From a father’s point of You, it has been important to listen to why this typology of education can facilitate kids and youth development and why is important for the families to get involved, ideally through the clubs or institutions.

I had the luck to meet Camillo, father of Dion, in Madrid at the RFEF event organised by The Showcase Int’l, in 2023. Camillo and his son Dion came all the way from Adelaide, Australia for this Spanish trial.

Once arrived, Dion did not feel like playing anymore, and Camillo had to transform himself into a sports psychologist and mentor and coach, overnight.

The Universe wanted us to be in the same hotel, walking distance from the RFEF. We took our late evening hours for long extensive chats outside the hotel and deepened on psychology, emotional intelligence, motivation and more.

I am grateful for You sharing the whole story in the interview with such openness, I leave it to the watchers without spoiling it!

We had the chance to discuss as well how academies, clubs, and federations are in charge and called to be the pioneers of emotional intelligence and psychological education.

Thanks Camillo, I am grateful for the interview and the nice words about the masterclass You attended in Madrid. Motivational, Encouraging.

Enjoy the video interview and stay blessed!
