Yesterday afternoon I had the luck of sharing #Emotional #Intelligencetools and techniques with more than one hundred promising athletes at the #RFEF, in Madrid, with Spanish Team’s #Scouts and with #Agentsand #Recruiters from the #UK, #Scotland, #Spain, #Malaysia, #Australia, #USA, #African countries and so on (sorry for not mentioning each one).
The talk has been fun and insightful, in approximately one hour we had the opportunity to rationalize how the #mind, the #emotions and the #body are #ONE #entity only, continuously interacting and affecting the other.
#Emotions #influence the #Body, therefore, the #Performance, this is undeniable.
We had the chance to talk about it in detail, supported by scientific data and mind-body dynamics knowledge.
The guys did delve deeper into the correlation between the mind, the emotions and their physical performance.
We stretched extensively into the #SelfTalk and how to handle that -sometimes annoying #inner #dialogue, clarifying the difference between negative and positive, how to use the positive one when needed, both the #instructional and the #motivational one, and how to transform #mistakes into #lessons which are crucial for #growth.
We talked about how to find #relaxation by mindful #breathing, how positive emotions are essential and how to recall them.
